62nd Annual Pilgrim Place Festival
Friday and Saturday, November 12 & 13, 2010
10:00 am to 4:00 pm
FREE ADMISSION
Visitors to our Festival will share in a unique “Pilgrim experience”—fun activities for people of all ages, rides, booths selling a variety of items (including creative crafts!), an authentic drama, terrific food. All celebrating the spirit of friendship and community that is Pilgrim Place.
Sixty years ago, an idea was born to hold an “open house” to better acquaint Claremont and surrounding communities with Pilgrim Place. This idea grew into what is now a two-day celebration that annually attracts thousands of people from throughout Southern California and more than 1,000 volunteers.

Pilgrim Place residents work selflessly throughout the year to create crafts, prepare activities and attractions that will engage people of all ages—all for a worthy goal. Proceeds from this event go directly to support those residents who have dedicated their lives to serving others and who now need help themselves.
As 2009 Festival Chair Byron Light affirms, “The Festival is a convergence of purpose, celebration and caring that captures the essence of Pilgrim Place—residents working together to help one another and opening their hearts to individuals and families from beyond our gates.”
